Aura Quartz / Vapor Deposition Quartz

Aura Quartz is natural quartz enhanced by humans to give it a vibrant iridescent quality. In a process called Chemical Vapor Deposition, crystals are heated to over 1600^o F in a vacuum chamber with metal vapor. The metal atoms fuse to the quartz and give it a new finish, with the hue depending on the metal used: gold, silver, platinum, titanium, cobalt, nickel, niobium, or indium. Metaphysically, this stone facilitates self expression.v

Spirit Quartz

Spirit Quartz, also known as cactus quartz, is a type of quartz crystal that terminates in a point and has hundreds of smaller crystals growing on its sides. There are white, yellow, and smoky crystals, but pale amethyst is the most common. Spirit Quartz was named after a popular cleaning agent of the same color called Methylated Spirits. It is only found in the Magaliesberg Mountain region of South Africa. Metaphysically, Spirit Quartz links the conscious mind to the Higher Self.
