Description
Cavansite
Cavansite is a hydrous silicate mineral, named after some of the elements it contains: Calcium (Ca), Vanadium (V), and Silicon (Si). Cavansite forms aggregates of bright blue prismatic crystals and is found in basalts in association with zeolites and apophylites. Its finest specimens are found in India, but can also be found in Oregon, where it was first discovered. Metaphysically, this stone brings about optimism and inspiration. |
