Description
Danburite
Danburite is a calcium aluminum borate silicate mineral that was first discovered in Danbury, Connecticut in 1839. It has a mohs hardness of 7 which makes it a great jewelry grade mineral, with tabular terminations that give it a unique look. Danburite often occurs as a colorless variety, but there are pale pink to yellow varieties as well. Metaphysically, danburite is believed to calm racing thoughts and alleviate over-thinking.
