Hematoid quartz, also known as ferruginous quartz or hematite-included quartz, is a type of quartz that grew in the same environment as hematite, resulting in the quartz essentially being stained. Hematite is an iron oxide, one of the main ores of iron, and is known to "stain" or coat other minerals that share the same geologic environment. Metaphysically, the combination of hematite and quartz results in a symbiosis of grounding yet energizing frequencies. Great for stimulating our life force and grounding us in our passions.
