Description
Prehnite
Prehnite is an inosilicate mineral composed of calcium and aluminum that often forms as boytroidal crystal aggregates, globular masses, or as stalactites. It commonly forms as a secondary mineral in the veins of basalt and granite, and is also often found in matrix with epidote crystals. Prehnite can be found in a variety of localities around the world such as South Africa, Canada, New Jersey, and Spain. Metaphysically, prehnite is known as the stone that “heals the healer” and can help with unconditional love.
