Description
Septarian Calcite
Septarian Calcite refers to grey limestone nodules containing cracks filled with yellow calcite crystals and reddish-brown aragonite. Septaria, from the Latin for “partition,” refers to angular cavities or cracks in the nodule, but the process that created these septarian remains a mystery. Found mainly in Utah and Madagascar, Septarian Calcite is also known as Dragonstone. Metaphysically, it is a grounding and protection stone that aids communication.
