Portland, Oregon is a great place to visit, with fun activities for all times of the year. Summer is a great time to enjoy our beautiful and sunny weather, and it’s just a short distance to the coast or the world-renowned Columbia River Gorge for some fun in the sun. Fall is gorgeous with all the leaves turning and plenty of wonderful places to hike, bike, kayak, and more. Winter is loads of fun with a quick trip to Mt. Hood, where you can ski some of the Northwest’s best terrain. Our coast has whale-watching and some amazing storms, fun to watch from a beach house rental as you cozy up to next to the fire.
