Epidote
Epidote is an aluminium iron silicate mineral with a hardness of 6 to 7 that commonly forms in prismatic crystals. Usually pistachio-green, epidote ranges from yellowish-green to greenish-black. Its name comes from the Greek word for "addition," as one side of the prism is longer than the other. Epidote is found in many places, including Austria, Brazil, Mexico, and the US. Metaphysically, epidote is used as an attraction stone.
