Muscovite
Muscovite is the most common of the mica group minerals, which are distinguished from other minerals by their pseudohexagonal crystal shape and their perfect cleavage, which allows the crystals to be pulled apart into very thin sheets. It's name comes from Muscovy-glass, due to its use in Russia as a cheaper alternative to glass in windows.
