Peach Selenite Palm Stone

From the Greek selene (“moon”), selenite is a form of gypsum, a calcium sulfate hydrate used in making mortar and plaster. Forms include wands, clusters of twinned crystals called “fishtail” selenite, and clear prismatic crystals. Masses of fibrous parallel crystals with a silky sheen are known as “satin spar.” Radiating aggregates of bladed crystals are sold as “desert roses.” Selenite opens the third eye (6^th) and crown (7^th) chakras, accessing higher realms of consciousness.
