Smithsonite
Smithsonite is a zinc carbonate mineral that belongs to the calcite group of crystals. This mineral comes in a variety of colors dependent on the impurities of the sample. Blue and green comes from copper impurities, pink and purple are present with cobalt, yellow from cadmium impurities, and a brown or red color from iron impurities. Metaphysically, smithsonite is good for overcoming traumas, breaking negative cycles, and can ease tension and dispel anxiety.
Smithsonite deposits can be found in Namibia Africa, Australia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Mexico, and USA
