The Pi (pronounced “Bee”) is a Chinese symbol dating back to 4500 BC. The Pi represents eternity. In ancient times, it was believed that if the Emperor spoke through the hole, his words would be heard in heaven.

From the Greek rhodon, meaning “rose,” because of its usual rosy pink color. Rhodonite is a manganese silicate, often veined with black manganese oxides. Crystalline rhodonite is rare; most often it is found in massive form. It is used in jewelry and as an ornamental stone. Rhodonite is found in Brazil, Canada, Sweden, Russia, and the USA.
