Pink Dolomite

Dolomite is a material found as both a mineral and rock. In its mineral state, dolomite forms saddle-shaped aggregates of tabular crystals, ranging in color from white to pink and brown. The very common pink forms of dolomite found in Morocco owe their color to the presence of manganese. Dolomite is also an important rock-forming mineral in carbonate rocks, and is the principal component in the rock also called dolomite. Dolomite crystals are found in such locations as Morocco, Mexico, Namibia, and the U.S.A. Metaphysically, dolomite is said to help relieve feelings of sorrow.
