Zincite pendant featuring a clear reddish-orange zincite crystal bezel-set in sterling silver, from a former zinc smelter in Poland. There doesn’t seem to be much more of this material available at all, so we consider it rare!

Zincite
Zincite is the mineral form of zinc oxide (ZnO). It has a hexagonal crystal structure and a color that depends on the presence of impurities, ranging from colorless to dark red, orange, or yellow to light green. Its crystal form is rare in nature; synthetic crystals are found as an accidental by-product of zinc smelting. Metaphysically, zincite is considered a high energy stone associated with creativity and transformation.
