Prophecy Stone

Prophecy stone is a pseudomorph: a mineral that has undergone a process where one mineral has replaced another mineral while maintaining the shape of the original mineral. In this case, the mineral marcasite has replaced the original mineral limonite, resulting in a crystal structure that looks like limonite but is composed of marcasite. This specimen is commonly found in sulfide ore deposits and can have a metallic luster, often used for jewelry and ornamental purposes. Metaphysically, it is considered a high vibration meditation stone.
